Factory Audit & Pre-Shipment Inspection in Pakistan
Once a container leaves Karachi, your leverage is gone. Quality problems discovered at your own warehouse are a claim; the same problems found in the factory are a rework instruction.
Third party inspection in Pakistan puts an independent inspector on the factory floor at the point where it still matters — before production starts, while it runs, and before the goods are packed and sealed.
You get a dated report with photographs, measurements and a clear pass or fail against the checklist you approved, in time to act on it.
What is the difference between a factory audit and a pre-shipment inspection?
An audit assesses the factory itself — capacity, equipment, systems — usually before you commit. A pre-shipment inspection assesses one specific finished order before it ships.
What is AQL and why does it matter?
AQL is a statistical sampling standard that sets how many units are checked and how many defects are acceptable for a given lot size. It makes a pass or fail objective instead of a matter of opinion.
When should the inspection be booked?
Pre-shipment inspection when production is at least 80% complete and largely packed. Book the slot one to two weeks ahead, as clusters get busy before peak shipping periods.
What happens if the goods fail?
You receive the report with defects classified and photographed. Most buyers instruct rework and a re-inspection; the report also supports withholding the balance payment while that happens.
Can you inspect at a supplier we found elsewhere?
Yes. Inspection is independent of whether the supplier is listed with us.
Will the factory be told the result?
The report is yours. Most buyers share it with the factory because it is the fastest route to rework, but that is your decision.
