Request for Quotation (RFQ) Service for Pakistani Manufacturers
Emailing twenty factories individually produces twenty differently structured replies: some quote EXW, some CFR, some for a quantity you never asked about, and half never reply at all. Comparing them honestly is a spreadsheet exercise that takes longer than the sourcing itself.
An RFQ fixes the format at the start. You describe the requirement once; matched Pakistani manufacturers respond on the same template, so unit price, MOQ, lead time and Incoterm line up column by column.
You still deal with the suppliers directly. The RFQ service just makes sure the right ones see your requirement and answer it in a usable form.
How many quotations will I receive?
It depends on category depth. Established export categories such as textiles, surgical instruments and sports goods usually draw several; niche or highly technical requirements draw fewer but better-matched ones.
Is posting an RFQ free?
Yes, for registered buyers. Registration also gives you the dashboard where quotations and messages are kept together.
Will my contact details be public?
Your requirement is shown to matched suppliers; contact details are not published openly on the site.
What makes an RFQ get good responses?
A clear specification, a realistic quantity, a destination port and a stated timeline. Vague RFQs with no quantity are the ones suppliers skip.
Can I request samples through the RFQ?
Yes. Ask for sample cost and lead time as part of the quotation so it is priced in from the start.
What if the quotations are all above my target price?
That is useful information. It usually means the target is below the current cost base, or the specification can be adjusted — and we can tell you which.
