Ultramarine Tech Private Limited (UMT) is a Karachi-based engineering company specialising in water treatment, reverse osmosis and water purification systems. It offers a one-window solution for the engineering, design, assembly, installation, commissioning and after-sales service of water treatment equipment, and delivers turnkey projects built around each client's needs. UMT's range covers reverse osmosis (RO) plants for brackish and sea water, effluent treatment plants (ETP), UF-Tech ultrafiltration, deionization (DI) and electro-deionization (EDI) systems, ion-exchange softening plants, ozonation and UV-C disinfection, along with anaerobic and aerobic treatment technologies. Systems are supplied with imported or locally assembled components, and UMT acts as a single accountable source for components, membranes and system performance across every stage of an integrated deionization process. To plan a system, UMT analyses the client's water requirement, tests the source water, evaluates the potential for reuse and conservation, and performs a treatment cost-benefit analysis. Its work spans water reuse and conservation, optimisation of existing water production, and the design and construction of energy-efficient, environmentally friendly desalination processes.
